About Cafe Nana
The world is a diverse place and the Jews are a diverse people. Throughout their history in exile, the Jewish people have incorporated many aspects of the local cultures into their own. Israeli culture synthesizes different Jewish traditions from around the world, while engaging and adapting those of its neighbors.
Cafe Nana, which was founded in early 2006 by a number of ambitious Columbia students, aims to bring you a taste of that diversity through the cafe's food & beverages, the decor and the cafe's live events. A taste of home, wherever that may be.
